A small human reflecting boundless possibilities — where art meets imagination.
About me
B.A. in Art from University of Minnesota Twin Cities - Summer 2021
A lifelong artist
My love for art began as soon as I came into existence in this world. Art has been my way of expressing myself authentically.
It also has been a great outlet for me to explore my life beyond the constraint of boundaries society has placed on me for being Deaf.
Art has continued to be a creative source for me to discover new answers.

Ongoing Projects
The Hidden Gems book:
A memoir that talks about Kaylah's personal transformation during the COVID-19 pandemic, winning the disability discrimination lawsuit against a Minnesotan hospital, rediscovering her true nature as an artist and her mission to realize her visions.
The book is expected to be released in Summer 2025. It is currently being edited by a Deaf-owned writing service.
Kaylah's Dreams:
Immersive Art Exhibition
Kaylah's Dreams is an immersive, interactive dreamscape that encourages people to dream boldly. Inspired by Kaylah's personal experience of finding safety and growth at home during the pandemic lockdown, it reflects a journey of transformation. Free from daily obstacles, Kaylah was able to expand beyond the constraints of keeping herself small to accommodate others' comfort. In the post-pandemic world, many spaces have been left empty, gathering dust, while disabled individuals continue to face systemic barriers like forced poverty and the need to 'prove' their worth to access opportunities. These individuals are hidden gems—waiting to be discovered through intention and the freedom to dream.
Kaylah's Dreams creates a space without limits, inviting both able-bodied and disabled people to reimagine a post-pandemic world together. The exhibition features symbolic art props: mirrors to blur the line between reality and dreams while fostering self-actualization, transparent curtains to symbolize transition, a starry ceiling to evoke unlimited potential, and a communal table for grounding and connection before exiting the dreamscape. This is a dream to remember—and to make real.
The Hidden Gems
Affordable Housing Project
Disabled artists and creative entrepreneurs are oftentimes left out of the nonprofit's reach and resources.
The goal of The Hidden Gems is to change that by replicating the existing structures such as Artspace.
